A modern twist on an old favorite:  Master printmaker Lindsay Ryan’s contemporary botanicals on Etsy are so very pretty.  I’m especially fond of the thistle one.

    I absolutely love botanical illustration. It’s my career in an alternate universe. I like the idea of just sitting in gardens or greenhouses and breathing the sweet breath of flora all day, focusing on stamens and bulbs. As it is, I’m too restless to focus only on plants…but it’s a lovely thought! these are beautiful.
