Lovely, fluffy photos! Can’t wait to see what else you capture on film. Have a beachy weekend.

  2. todd vodka says:

The clouds were lovely, like tufts from the argyle of strangers passed in the bus station.
    Do have a lovely weekend.

    well, thank you todd vodka!

  4. Miranda says:

Is it really any wonder our ancestors looked to the sky for their gods? These lovely photos are enchanting in the simple way they evoke that wondrous act of looking up and breathing deeply. Thanks.

    Have a great beach weekend.
    Love,

  6. Alicia says:

Reading the previous post and now looking at these enchanting polaroids, I think you should put on a good sweater and go to the beach no matter what!

  7. Tina says:

it’s surprisingly chilly at the beach in california, especially in the evening. even in the summer.

I went to an outdoor reception at JJ Abrams’ house in the pacific palisades about a year ago. they had a large basket filled with cashmere wraps for the ladies.

Sally Field was there keeping warm in a twinset…

now i’m making it sound like we’re braving freezing temperatures here! sorry!

  8. Little Gray Pixel says:

No, you’re right! It feels really chilly at night here. Since moving to L.A. from the East Coast, I’ve never gotten used to the fact that the ocean is freezing cold year-round, too.

  9. Beatriz Kim says:

I agree…it’s chilly at the beach in California…especially in Northern California. But I guess we Californians can’t complain to much;) Still…have a beautiful weekend! …just take a warm sweater;)

  10. steviwonderful says:

I love the polaroids! they have such a unique look to them! did you have to get your film online and stock pile it?

  11. Brian Miller says:

    love polaroids.

  12. Rebecca says:

ohhhh…what i wouldn’t do for a balmy afternoon and time at the beach!

  13. Tina says:

    happy friday evening!

re the pacific ocean: it’s true. it’s freezing! I was also surprised how much it rains in Los Angeles during the winter. I could never understand how Sinatra could sing: “She hates california. it’s cold and it’s damp” until I moved here..

Although I love California, it can be cold and damp…

re: Polaroids…i’ve been buying the film online and at a photo shop in pasadena! it’s still available, altho expensive…hoping someone buys the rights and starts making the film again…i can’t afford to stock pile it! once it’s gone, i guess i’ll have to learn how to use a digital camera….

  14. Char says:

  15. liza says:

Perhaps this means they'll keep making the film?
