I love these women. When confronted by corporate greed and insensitive bosses with dumb ideas, I suspect they would offer a string of obscenities that mean basically this:   Buzz off, idiots.

  1. i am one that is blessed with a sassy grandma! the part where their mouths do not seem to have a filter…nor do they care!:) i hav missed your blog so much! i have been out of town working and sooo happy to be back! hope all is well with you:)

  2. My grandmother was absolutely one of these ladies. She was always out and about, and even tried to teach me how to do a cartwheel when I was in third grade — she was 70 at the time. She also broke her foot trying to do so, but I love that she never let anything stop her from doing what she wanted to do.

  4. I hope I am a sassy older woman when I grow up. 😉

  5. haha! I love them! They gave me goosebumps:). I particularly love the one lighting her cigarette on her birthday candle. Hope you're having a great day, Tina! xoxo

  6. Yes! I have loved that granny doing the splits since I was a kid and saw it hanging in a frame in a restaurant bathroom. Neat that you found it :)

  7. i'm looking forward to being an old crazy lady- outrageous make-up, big hair, cocktail in hand… i'm also planning on working on a jersey accent.

  8. These grandmas make me say "fuck yes" to aging.

Seriously though, I can't wait for gray hair. Isn't it just so pretty and silver!
