When I first moved to Los Angeles, someone told me that summer doesn’t really start here until September.
It’s true: it was 105 degrees today in my little suburb. It’s hot.

So here are my hot weather beauty tips:

Put on a jaunty linen hat…

Or go for a twist…

Maybe add a little decoration…

Try to stay cool…

Wonderwall

If worst comes to worst, there’s always this…

lost at sea

And be happy.

(I know this probably wasn’t the best DIY you’ve seen,
but it’s too hot for the glue gun.)

  1. I was in LA in October once when it hit 108. That was hot! I don’t have long hair, so I don’t have to do up my hair. I like the swimming pool option.

A pencil has become my favorite hair accessory…

  3. When I had long hair I used to twist it up with a pencil all the time! Now I have it all chopped off 🙂

Ooh I absolutely love this post! My hair is too short for this type of thing, but I still love these looks ^^
