Hello everyone, I’m very excited to announce this week’s giveaway: The very pink new edition of William M. Thackeray’s Vanity Fair, with illustrations by Donald Urquhart. This lovely book is part of the Four Corners Familiars series that invites contemporary artists to illustrate and produce a new edition of a classic novel or short story. Urquhart’s drawings are inspired by the fashions and iconography of 1930s Hollywood.

You’ll love it!

The winner will be picked Friday. Leave a comment and
please follow English Muse for news about future giveaways!

The winner is #91: Daiana!

  3. I REALLY need this book. Seriously. It’s for a friend. See, I went to a book fair recently and a friend of mine really regretted not being able to come along. I saw an antiquarian copy of this novel (it’s a recent favourite of hers) and would have bought it had it not been several hundred dollars beyond my meagre student budget. So I am entering on her behalf. Please pick my friend, Liz!
