I would definitely go for what’s inside The Communist manifesto, Jane Eyre and the Dharma bums though!

  7. Because of your blog I get to see all these pretty book covers 😀 I pick Jane Eyre, One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Frankenstein.

  8. Goodness, they are lovely! If I really have to choose, my picks would be

    – Great Expectations, it is one of my all-time favourites, I could just read it over and over and over again…
    – The Scarlet Letter, as it has been on my reading list for years,
    and
    – Fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen, the cover design just brings all the childhood memories into your mind. The cover is probably the most beautiful of all of these.

Your giveaways are amazing. I shall keep my fingers crossed.

  9. These are awesome. I would have to pick:
Jane Eyre – because it’s one of my favourite books
Pride and Prejudice – because the silhouettes are amazing. And
The Scarlet Letter – because I really want to read it.

  10. They are amazing! These are the books I was looking for a few years ago, now I’m stuck with boring covers…Still love the books though, pride & prejudice is one of my alltime favorites!

  11. Oh! I am so in love with these! I already have the John Steinbeck and the Voltaire in these and they are truly amazing!

I would love to have the Ethan Frome, Moby Dick, and the Scarlet Letter!

  12. I love seeing redesigns of Penguin Classics. I think my favorites from this bunch are “Little Women” (hysterical), “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “The Dharma Bums”.

    What a great giveaway!

  13. Definitely Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice and maybe Ethan Frome. Although the Great Expectations looks great too!

  14. These are all so rad! Would definitely brighten up my bookshelf :) My three picks are The Scarlett Letter, Ethan Frome and James and The Giant Peach.

    The Fairy Tale Collection
    Pride & Prejudice

  18. what excellent artwork! My faves are Jane Eyre (cool goth vibe), Dharma Bums (with the Tintin-esque cover) and Dorian Grey (with the surreal flavour).

Follow my postings on Facebook at Free People Hollywood! :)

  20. I know we shouldn’t judge books by their covers…but these are too cool! I would choose Jane Eyre (of course!), The Picture of Dorian Gray, and The Dharma Bums.

  21. I love “Fairy Tales”, “One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest” and “The Jungle” mostly because the covers very accuratly depict the mood of the books themselves. But all of them are really wonderful!

  22. They are so beautiful!! Oh my!!
I would love Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, and Great Expectations.
    How awesome!

  23. Holy crap, these are so much better than the Penguin Classics. I bet these won’t rub off on your fingers!

Hands down, “Pride and Prejudice” is the most beautiful out of the bunch, but I freaking LOVE-LOVE-LOVE the twist on “Little Women.” It was the first classic I ever read, and the first “real people” film (the one with Kirsten Dunst and Winona Ryder) I could quote from beginning to end. Although “Ethan Frome” isn’t my favorite Edith Wharton novel, the cover is so cheeky you’ve gotta say hello.

  24. ohmygosh. what beautiful art! i’m in love with jane eyre, pride and prejudice, and i’m also love the fairy tales one, but i’m not sure if that was an option. in which case, dorian gray is purty superdupery, too.

  25. It was hard to narrow it down to only three but I love the covers for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Rashomon and Seventeen Other Stories, and Cold Comfort Farm.

  26. I love this giveaway!!
If i have to choose, i would like, Jane Eyre, The Scarlet Letter and One flew over the Cuckoo’s nest!
    The covers are so amazing!

  28. Thank you for another fantastic giveaway, Tina!

Could I have two copies of ‘The Scarlet Letter’ and one copy of ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ please? If not, I’ll also take ‘Pride and Prejudice.’ Thanks again!

  29. Guh, you have the absolute BEST giveaways!

Personally, I would love to own Wuthering Heights, Frankenstein, and Dracula. All of them are stunning though *___*

  30. Oh, WOW, these are gorgeous! I have never liked the Scarlet Letter (in spite of loving Hawthorne’s short stories), but that cover is great. I think I’d have to go for Jane Eyre or Little Women, though.
