This very British dressmaker, Cabbages & Roses, sells the cutest clothes ever! I love the patchwork of fabrics — tweed, flannel, chintz, grosgrain. (I’m still stuck on “preppy with a twist.”)…Have a look:

LOVE!

In addition to clothes, they sell fabric by the meter. I’m adding Cabbages & Roses to my “must visit” list for the next time I’m in London…

  2. Their clothes are quintessentially English in the very best way.

    Loving the patchwork blazer!

  4. Love the first jacket and tunic but unfortunately my preppy days are over, as is my age – “over the hill”! But I have such fond memories of this period of my life…………
The Cabbage & Roses fabric are super – must visit a store when in Europe this year.
    Warm regards

The owner, Christina Strutt, has written a few books and they are gorgeous but not about fashion. They are design books and at least one of them is a how-to (making pillows & accessories). The photography and styling (most photos are of her own home) are completely swoon-worthy.
