Woolrich is one of the US’s oldest clothing brands, with its iconic red and black plaid shirts and jackets. Recently, the company started a very chic line, via Italy, to give the traditional pieces more of a European look. It warms my Europhile heart. But like all beautiful things from Europe, it comes with Prada-sized prices. If I could sew, I would remake some of the vintage Woolrich pieces but I’m not that crafty. (Is it too late to learn?)

See more from the Woolrich euro line HERE. And the standard issue (and more moderately priced) clothing HERE.

I *love* these! I think it’s so much fun when iconic brands do what they’re good at and then reinvent a bit on the side.

P.S. It’s never too late to learn to sew. May be a good New Year’s project?

For some reason, this reminds me of the clothing styles of the show “The Waltons” 🙂

The last jacket, without that fur, would be my ideal jacket! But the style is lovely.

  4. Uhh, the bottom leather jacket with the fur is beyond gorgeous! I would wear it to shreds…
