I’ve completely crossed over into the Kindle camp. I can’t live without it now. This week, I’ve been reading “Isabella Blow: A Life in Fashion” by Lauren Goldstein Crowe. It’s a fascinating account of Blow’s life as a fashion maven. She lived in high heels (made by Manolo Blahnik or Alexander McQueen) and outlandish hats (fashioned by Phillip Treacy). Of course, she was always the life of the party…She was like a character from an Evelyn Waugh book!

What are you reading these days?

I just finished “The Uninvited Guests” by Sadie Jones. I thought that it was going to be a rather leisurely read but once it got rolling I couldn’t put it down. Most enjoyable!

Ooh, that sounds like a really interesting book. At the moment I’m reading part 3 of A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. I’m loving it. I really like long books and those 800+ babies fit the bill. Hehe.

Save yourself the precious times and just imagine what Twilight would be if Edward wasn’t a vampire and just a rich dude who loves BDSM.

I read books 1 to 5 of “A Song of Ice and Fire” last summer. Looking back it may have been a bit too much at one time, as it were. Once in a while I would look up, surprised that I wasn’t actually in Westeros 😉 Still, I’m looking forward to the next installment!
