Hello, sweet English Muse readers.

It seems like everyone is in a New York state of mind this week.  My favorite travel destination is France. However, with the ever-increasing costs in air fare, France is out of the question for this summer.

This weekend is a holiday in the US so we are jetting off to NYC for a few days.  I’m really excited to walk everywhere, people watch and eat good food. I also plan on walking across the Brooklyn Bridge (I’ve never done it) visit the 9/11 Memorial, the NY Public Library (the famous one where Audrey Hepburn filmed a scene for Breakfast at Tiffany’s) and the Met.

What’s your favorite travel destination?

xoxo Luli

Cuttyhunk, Massachusetts – miles from everyone, everything.

London, London, London. I lived there for 6 months and love that city. I’m a study abroad counselor now, so I’m constantly talking about it, which makes the desire to go there that much worse! I am heading off to San Francisco for the weekend though, so that will be pretty good too. 🙂

Oh, I love London. What’s not to love. I wish I could be there for the Queen’s Jubilee and the Olympics. I also love reading books set in Victorian London….

my favorite destinations are italy and sandpoint, idaho – such different places but both of which i find myself continually drawn to, over and over again.

  6. O luli, New York sounds amazing. For us here in SA, it’s an absolute luxury to go there. My hubby and I have been chatting about doing a massive USA road trip later this year for his 30th. Wouldn’t it be the best? And New York would definitely be on our itinerary. I went there once and found it magical. 🙂

Totally nerded out at the Public Library on our first trip last month. The first Winnie the Pooh is in the bottom kid’s area of the big branch… just sayin 😉
