Hello, sweet English Muse readers.  On my little blog, I have a series titled Your Moment of Calm to remind myself to slow down.  I’m always on the go, always saying yes, always over-committing myself.  So, I am finally learning the art to sit still and enjoy the moment.  Are you like that too or have you mastered the art of enjoying life?

What a lovely idea for a series! And these photos go along so perfectly. I think, for the most part, that I’m fairly good at recognizing my moments of calm and enjoying them for all they’re worth. But what I’ve realized is that I’ve only managed it in solitude; when I’m surrounded by others I get much more uptight, so I’m still learning how to bring that same calm spirit into my life completely. This was a wonderful reminder to keep at it!

  2. Lie most people, I find it hard to totally unwind. The home you featured reminds me of Howard’s End, a movie I loved.

    To relxation

Hi Helen, most days of the week I lie awake just worrying about stuff…I need to cut it out and learn some lessons from women who know how to tune things out and not worry so much. Thanks for your comment!! 🙂

Hi Cassie, it sounds like I could learn a lesson from you. I’m so glad you take time out to just be…I hope you had a stylish 4th 🙂

It can be so hard to pause. I’m on vacation from work this coming week and was still worrying about it when I came home yesterday–so silly, isn’t it?
Thanks for the reminder to seek a good moment of calm. Hope you find a few this weekend!
