Hello, English Muse Readers! Today, I thought I’d share a peak inside my sketchbook. This weekend, I flew to New York to spend the week with Husband, and since we’re staying in Brooklyn this time, I thought it may be fun to doodle some of the things I’ve seen while we’ve walked around town. Tomorrow, I think I’ll fill them in with some water colors. What about you? How do you like to preserve your travel memories?

I hope you have a lovely week! xo~ Hannah B.

  1. That’s such a great way to capture moments from vacation!

That is awesome! I’m more of a photography person when I travel, though.

Ooh, do you instagram at all?

I am a big fan of collecting brochures, business cards etc and making a collage at the end of every day in my diary. One page of collage one page of writing. I then scan them and use them in hard cover albums that I get made up. Love looking back on it all.

  5. Delightful doodling! What a neat idea. I’m afraid I’m just a photograph junkie, though I have written in a mini journal on a couple of trips. You’ve inspired me to be more creative in documenting my travels in the future!

  6. Thanks for sharing your lovely doodling! I’m a sucker for scrapbooking. But if I could sketch like that, it would be a different story!

I generally just accumulate all sorts of ephemera and far too many pictures on my camera, few of which are good…
I like your doodles a lot more!
