It’s the sort of place where you could spend hours on a chilly winter afternoon knitting and chatting with the amazingly knowledgeable staff.

I ended up buying three skeins of soft gray alpaca and a set of bamboo needles to knit a circle scarf on the flight back to LA. I’m adding Looped to my “must visit” list on my next trip!
Knitters, do you have a favorite yarn store?

Wool – perfect winter metaphor for need of hugs and love on a cold day. Like your blog, it’s inspiring! Keep warm!
Ha! You were in my neighborhood. I work just a couple doors down from Looped, and was never happier than when the lovely ladies of Looped opened their doors. It is a blessing and a curse to have such a fantastic yarn store just steps away from my home away from home. It IS a great place to spend time on a slow afternoon, knitting and chatting…but the temptation is difficult to bear at times. Hope you enjoyed your stay!
